A Long History

The Calwis Company, established in 1945, was originally the product of the merger of an oil company from California (the “Cal” in Calwis) and a paper company from Wisconsin (the “Wis” in Calwis). During that era, Calwis manufactured windshield service products, such as windshield cleaners among other products. The current owners bought the Company in 1983.

Today, Calwis is a manufacturing and innovation concern with core specific expertise in screen printing, chemical filling packaging and dry powder filling packaging. We do a significant amount of screen printing of plastic bottles manufactured especially for Calwis. Importantly, we have broader expertise and experience in innovative solutions in our core disciplines evidenced by a long history of successful products in numerous sectors including the automotive, cosmetic and medical.

Though the current owners bought the Company nearly 30 years ago, the core values of Calwis have not wavered. Our core values are integrity, purpose and commitment.
